I'm 50 years young, I just like to dabble with poetry. Hope you like that which I post.

The heart Deep inside, where the beat goes on, The pulsation of life, where the beat is strong The heart is the place, the foundations of trust, The place of emotions, Including, passion and lust. From the day we are born, to the last moment of breath, It will keep on beating, until the, inevitable death. The mixture of emotions, That defines who we are, The feelings that dwell within you, not the make of the car Theres room in our hearts. A place for the one, The one special person, for whom the emotions are strong. You've captured my heart, for you are that one, You are the person, For whom my emotions belong You are woman, so caring, so true, A wonderful heart, Beats within you. GaryBaldwdin 20-08-14

Welcome to Write Out Loud, we hope you are enjoying the site and we're really looking forward to reading some of your work. I know that you will be warmly welcomed by other WOL-ers too.
Its good to see that you've already uploaded a picture of yourself, it’s really good to see what our fellow poets look like.
Have a good look around, there’s always lots going on and if you have the time to make some comments about the work of other poets please feel free to do so, it’s often the best way to get some constructive feedback about your own work too.
There’s usually somebody who’ll help you out with any problems that you might encounter, so just ask and someone will get back to you.
