I'm a single working mom with a million dreams. Writing poetry has been a love of mine for years, but I've been too shy to share. This is the first time I'm putting my work out there and I'd love some honest, gentle feedback.

Ignored I would have set the world on fire just to see you smile. You never noticed I was there. So engulfed in petty sorrows My cries for your love fell to deaf ears.
