Biography
Retired from manufacturing management position. Married, Florida resident, summerbirds to Northern Wisconsin, grandkids, dogs, tennis, motorcycle. Began writing poetry, musings during first months of pandemic. New to evaluation of this art form, I have a very unsophisticated appreciation. I like what I like, and vice versa. I enjoy my new pass time. Some more information about me on my weblog.

Writing Poems Not even clever enough to define This anemic desire of mine to engage someone to read this. Blatantly plastering words together Assuming the party will measure My talent at Inventiveness. Rather it appears a personal flaw Is on display to abide the law Nothing ventured Something missed. What an insult to the prisoners Of this parade watching, listeners Expecting more Getting less. PS. So credit to The Rolling Stones. I know, it’s only writing poems, but I like it, I like it, Yes I do. Procrastination It takes a minute Not very long. Only a thought in my brain and gone. Later it’s back. Snuck in again. Hitting a nerve like a cold drop of rain. Not really hurting, just annoyingly there. Regrettably feeling a hint of despair. Seeking an answer. Not wanting remorse. Perhaps tomorrow. All in due course. But what of a promise to myself will be true, Yet time ratchets onward with debts surely due. Concepts and images and plans formulate, While consequent actions stand still at the gate. The excuse given from all is the same. Results not forthcoming, time passage to blame.
