Biography
I was a scientist as my day job. I'm 66 now, and I'm doing all the things I did in yesterday's shadow. Always a performance musician and songwriter, I got into acting by accident through Tim Beasley, a work colleague and part time professional actor. All the stuff I can't put to music (and some I can) counts as poetry, so I'm trying to string all that stuff together before it's too late!!

ESTUARY This is the place where the tides turn. Day on day, year on year the past is covered, the unseen revealed. No haste here. Small birds trill in the rock pools, awaiting their diurnal sustenance. The sea exhales salt and light. Only cycles of time and moon, and breath of Winter as the sea-fret shrouds the coast. No haste here, only sea and sky; and, age on age, the present is covered, the future revealed. No haste here. This is the place...where the tides turn.
