Biography
I am a leader, an educator, a doodle artist, and a poet. I love the power of language and colors, shapes, and, forms. I love the uniqueness of people and appreciate the good in them. I choose to focus on the positive in people in life and to be strong, despite many challenges. I am a lifelong learner.
Pieces of my Poetry
I write to express, to address, to impress, to share my thoughts under duress; I write, to feel, to appeal, to be real, and to deal; I write to share, to compare, to declare, to make others aware; I write, to relieve, to achieve, to deceive, ... There is a light at the end of the tunnel, It's what I've often been told. Iman, you will get there, with Iman, you will make it, Tight on to Iman I will hold. ... Underground I'm alone, In a daunting world unknown, to those who stand above me; lonely, quiet and dark, unlike old days at the park, I'm waiting to be set free. In a remote place I lie, how we life and then we die, it's so short, you would agree. ... Am I your conscience, because I abide? my faith apparent - yours deep down inside?
