I'm a 17 year old poet, trying to reach a wider audience. If you like what you read, please let me know. I would love to hear feedback, and if youd like, your response can be a poem as well. All in all thanks to anyone in the art of poetry for helping me grow within my own styles.

I have stayed awake all my life, Searching for a glimpse of you, Simply demeaning myself over, The fact it might be true. That after all this time, And after all these lies, That this sour lime, Might taste sweet not bitter. But all endings are full of bitterness, And you cannot replace, The feeling of emptiness, You left laying in my bed.
