Biography
It appears that poetry is now flowing out of me, it started abruptly when my wife was diagnosed with cancer, this ability if that's what it is, may always have been there, in any case it's here now. Although in reading interests I'm much more a prose person, these poems zip out of me whenever I attach to an emotion and I think have strong grains of gratitude, love and wonderment running through them, hopefully, I won't run out of emotions....

I want my little girl back Back from the woes and worries she holds Back to the days of freedom and fun When we could wake carefree and calm and cuddling Time will get us there, but it will take time But time we have and time we've had Deep memories of times to cherish and nourish Forward looking of times to come When our lives will have peace and the world can stop churning it's turmoil And the sun will shine again and warm our souls

The thoughts and feelings have always been there, in your heart and head, and now they come through your finger tips to make the 'written word'. Welcome to WOL, for a wonderful journey with other 'friends' who feel exactly the same - the drive to just 'share'. Once the pot is open the ideas and words just flow; it's quite an uplifting experience.
And the resource within yourself seems endless.
Welcome aboard.

Thanks Cynthia,
Hope it is endless, keep expecting nothing else to come/flow.
So far so good though, seems to be there when I want it and quick, very quick to escape.
Cheers,
ian.
