… “BAM” as the baseball bat cracks against my skull. As I fall my vision begins to fade and eventually there’s just darkness. All of the sudden I see him, there in Liana’s Coffee shop sitting alone at the table at the very back of the shop. His shaggy brown hair and his deep blue eyes that sparkle in the light. I get my coffee and sit a few tables down from him, trying not to stare. I hear the door of the shop open and look over my shoulder to see who walked in. I look back towards him and to my surprise, he isn’t there! I start to look around for him and as I turn my head, there he is! Standing right in front of me! He shoots me a quick smile and says “Hi, I'm Derek." We exchanged numbers and started to communicate for almost 2 months. Derek decided he wanted to meet where he first saw each other ...

Jocelyn hi, advice?...write about everything, destroy nothing. Revisit, rewrite, then abandon it. :) Tommy
