Biography

I started writing poetry about 4 years ago whilst on holiday. I tend to write about real life and have started to write more over the last couple of months - with three teenage children I try and fit some writing into my life when I have a spare hour or two!

Samples

9 to 5 The masses awake to the daily alarm - here we go again to our monotonous role. Live for the weekend the Nation proclaims - why are we doing this for so little gain? Deja vu is the ringing tone - how can we escape from this daily treadmill zone? Same time, same place and the familiar face - tick tock goes the clock as our life fast expires. Is this what it's all about or is there an end we hear you shout? The weary masses continue to moan - only the brave jump and go it alone. The path is straight and tiresome in length - can we divert and jump the fence? Same old lunch or maybe a brunch, we strive for change but back out at the crunch. An also ran is so common place, or strive for gold to buck the rat race?
