The Mobile
The Mobile
A great invention we all believed, but in reality we were all deceived.
Twenty four seven we are now on call, it's now an expectation amongst us all.
Conversation has become historical, as the digital revolution becomes rhetorical.
Eye to eye contact was once the norm, the mobile revolution has put paid to it all.
It's far too late to turn the clock back, the youth of today would suffer a panic attack.
3G or 4G and synching galore, I'll admit I'm confused with the modern furor.
The future is scary and we must be wary, as family values become extinct and weary.
I'll end this poem right here and now as I've just had a text so feel the need to go.
