Biography

People say I'm: honest, idealistic, analytical and that I think differently (which is open to unexplained interpretation). According to Myer-Briggs, I'm: ENFJ. That translates to: a personality type of (slight) Extrovert, iNtuitive, Feeling, and Judging. In addition, I'm an IT (Information Technology) geek that writes Christian poetry. Soooo, hopefully, both sides of my brain work. If that wasn't enough, I'm also a natural Maine-iac. Published my first book back in November 2006; it's called: Reaching Towards His Unbounded Glory

Samples

For Upon My Head, Nothing Gold Can Stay Standing at the threshold of Death's ultimate door, my last gasp escapes me... As I've never experienced before. Into the Heavenly realm I ascend in wonderment, now housed in an incorruptible body and thankful that from sin I did repent. Standing in God's throne room freed of all Earthly flesh, my spiritual essence is energized and feeling fully refreshed. Now gathered unto my Savior, unencumbered reality is more than it seems; for to be in His Presence is my accomplished dream. Having been given my kingly reward, in these times of everlasting days, willfully I set my crown at His feet. For upon my head, nothing gold can stay. Thanks for the comment about "The Political Poet".
I had commented on the work of certain WOL
contributors insofar that I sought to show there
were differing points of view to a stance taken
by them - and found myself consigned to the
category of "troll" and told to remove myself
from their sight (or words to that effect).
My short poem was a response to an attitude
that brooked no argument or alternative point
of view...clearly only interested in approbation and applause for a pre-set POV.
I enlarged upon that later in another short poem that finishes...
See the open hand reach out,
A closed hand is a fist.
The open mind makes room for doubt,
A closed mind will resist.
