Biography

I am a young independent poet who writes romantic poetry(mainstream). Sometimes I write short stories or romantic proses based on inspirations I saw. I am best known for a narrative poetry collection titled "How Long is Soon." This poetry collection was followed by both "Caged Bird," and "Lost Winter Notes." I enjoy reading romantic books, poems, stories as well as listening to spoken word poetry. I like traveling and exploring behavior of people from different cultures around the world, and learning human behavior. I am currently studying Law at the University of North.

Isn't She Amazing? I saw it in me thee tiny emptiness that had caressed my heart I could smile I could laugh Yet, I felt incomplete. I saw it in me to travel around the world to find the spark to fill my incompleteness. I got lost in the way however, I did not forget to pray. I felt unrealized a bit stricken and shallow yet, I never stopped breathing it was just a feeling, it only needed a healing. I saw it in me to find her - 'the midnight's moonshine' her... the effulgent bliss of my life. She left her space like a blink of a meteor eliminating the ups and downs of the sky and came to me- now, we are one. We have settled in each other's arms. © Katlego Maake Jr COFFEE She inspires my sleep she calls me when I am tired, and her scent warms my nerves. I may grow old but she's always there when I am cold and when she's hot, her sigh becomes blur and I hold her firm... I won't get tired of loving her. © Katlego Maake Jr

Not many people nowadays use 'thee' in their poetry, but you made it work pretty well. Whole piece is good.?
