Biography

I have been writing for over 12 years and feel I am only now beginning to establish myself within the art due to experience. I have recently made a commitment to write more. I figure poetry is a relaxing, meditative, passionate way to engage the world. I appreciate any feedback. I find I can learn from any encounter whether it was the way I anticipated doing so or not.

Samples

"Dreams" Dreams mean to destroy To raze all of your hope To arrest realities To poison your ill heart Dreams mean to confuse Unsure of what is real Unclear if you are awake Blind to your forlorn life Dreams mean to break you To tear your mind in two To shatter your heart of glass Too frightened to face truth

I don't find writing poetry relaxing, more like tearing my hair out. Not everyone who enjoys your work will respond in writing. Reciprocity is excellent.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback! I write on an impulse...cannot explain what drives me to capitalize or not :0

Hi, thank you so much for the feedback! That was great feedback for a first revealing of one of my poems, so I really appreciate that. I also have made a commitment to focus more on my poetry and simply write more in general!

In answer to your question I haven't ever actually recorded any spoken word/audio versions of my poetry but I may think about doing so once I gain more confidence.
