Lament beside a closed door You are my silence; the road to where you are is silent. Powered down, a pilot light left on, my social world is silent. Uninvited, this late spring snow lies deep and crisp and silent. Excess to requirements, such stars as neither lead nor fall are silent. My nerves are bad tonight, let them speak - the vanished tongues are silent. Amniotic world, that holds yet does not deliver, this page is silent. Here, with all that I would like to say to you, I remain, your humble servant, silent.
