Biography
I am a student at university, struggling with depression but trying to keep it under locks so that I do not hurt anyone. I write as if it were my diary, how I feel or what I want to say to people. It is all private and I have never shared my work before

TRY AGAIN? I've missed you, Did you know? And did you feel it too? It was a shock that Tuesday I was shaking through and though I sat alone in Morrisons carpark Because I didn't know what to do Since then I've been on standyby But I don't blame you I'm not asking for the future, I'm just asking for a chance So we may be broken But you still make my heart dance I'm living in your limbo Trying not to advance So, today Will you meet me halfway? Make my day? What do you say? WAITING FOR REJECTION Am I waiting for rejection? As you hide away from me Have you found a new connection Someone happier and better to see You may not want to speak, Or hear my voice or see my face But we have only a fortnight left Of living in the same place I know I broke my promise By invading your space I was selfish, I was hurting and In need of comforts embrace I think we both need to know Where we stand just in case If we can't patch up the problems Or simply retrace Am I waiting for rejection? Anicipating hurt Have you found a new connection Constantly alert If I can't be your perfection Dish out the dirt I won't plee If you Set me free

I have read all the poems on your profile here. They are remarkably good as they emanate from your inner being where your honesty gives free rein to you emtions and thoughts. Write more, lots more. You are very talented. Your suffering is your strength. Thanks Keith
Writing is an excellent means to sort out emotions. It's even better therapy as you begin to critique your own ideas in their relativity to other people's similar feelings. The world begins to take shape beyond self-made horizons. I think it's the start of real self-wisdom, especially essential to poets.
