Infection

Infection

The bats from hell have left their caves

Insidiously they spread their wings of dread

They are indiscriminate in their choice of victim

Random in whom they infect with plague

Fear and panic grip the heart and mind

We glance over our shoulder with uncertainty

Expectation lurks around very corner

Some withdraw behind door and curtain

The fatalistic stride forth with impunity

Precautions are sensibly adopted

Anxiety pervades the atmosphere

Press on, go forward, keep to your routine

To be afraid is no antidote to this curse

Vigilance and common sense will triumph

Until that day comes when the bats

Will return to their darkened dwelling places

Then we shall be free to breathe afresh

I cannot help but feel there is more than a slither of truth in these lines. Very well put Keith

Think this might be true, as those corona virus bats live 900 miles from Wuhan, and there is more than one article in reliable scientific magazines of years past, wondering why they were carrying out these experiments, saying they were useless and very dangerous. That would explain why they tried to cover it up in the beginning.
