Nothing out of me

I am the bearer of silence

The tree that bears no fruit

The garden with no undergrowth

The desert with no illusory oasis

The shiny surface with no trace of true living

I am the great promised void

The proven emptiness

I live in the vast expanse of the unknown

I am the great toothless white shark

I am so close to greatness

I can taste it

Can’t grasp it

You can keep reading

But will not get anything out of me

I did keep on a'reading
Reading past last line
Into blank-space nothingness
You're right, could naught I find
