Right side up

We know each other

                upside down

Every day we exchange

                    sun for moon

                    day for night

One awake

One asleep

                   keeping a careful eye

            on our shared possessions

Geography suggests

                a point of view

                a direction

                to our connection

You are down under

But our minds suggest

                a more complex interaction

                an up and down situation

We travel intermittently

                to both poles

The search for the right side up

                        a waste of time

The quickest way to each other

Is the straight line

                on paper

I don't regard your comments funny Brian. Nor appropriate.

And please don't use 'ffs' when talking to me. I don't respond well to gutter language.
