Like a metal coil

In a tense, uncertain
Rest
And when the pressure is
Released
Many mere mortals, by then
Deceased
They thought that
Spring
Was daffodils
Now life has fallen
Almost still
Invisible, silent, viral
Attack
The question is
Do we
Spring back?

I like that.
Welcome positivity. I like the use of the words "Spring back", bringing
to mind "It's always darkest before the dawn".
We must spring back,
And fight this virus attack.
"Life has fallen almost still,"
We must fight against being dead or ill.
Summer lies a short way ahead,
Spring back don't end up dead !!

Although the media has seemed overpowering in its eagerness to
keep this in the news, at least we are beneficiaries of its ability to
spread the word, unlike those poor souls a hundred years ago who
suffered the blight of Spanish flu and had no such worldwide
warning system in place to help awareness and the fight back...or, to
borrow that positive phrase: "Spring back"?.
