A clap of thanks

As darkness fell across the U.K.

Millions of people had their say.

Raising a thunder of gratitude clapping their hands,

An explosion of thanks on front line health workers lands.

In isolation we sent our thanks and respect to the N.H.S.

Risking their lives on the frontline battling this mess.

As a nation we thanked them  for their courageous fight,

For the sacrifices and bravery they exude  day and night.

This batallion of dedication and love that protects us,

Determined and united to beat the  coronavirus.

To the busiest people on our planet right now,

We clapped our hands and made a row.

Thankyou
