Bristol Spring Poetry Festival
The first ever Bristol Spring Poetry Festival aims to bring together the most entertaining and inspirationalaward-winning poets and performers from Bristol, the South-West, and the rest of the world, in a spring bank holiday spectacular.
The festival runs from Thursday, 29th April until Sunday, 2nd May, and with so many wonderful events to choose from, it is advisable to book before they all sell out. The first evening, with Benjamin Zepheniah and Francesca Beard, has already sold out, but you can still get tickets to hear Hungarian-born George Szirtes, with Rita Ann Higgins and Peter Bennet; or to help solve a Murder in the Library; or to see Smoke and Mirrors – a performance that combines spoken word, theatre and music. There is a lot to choose from, and you can find the full programme at:
You can book tickets by calling the Arnolfini Box Office on 0117 917 2300, or visit: www.arnolfini.org.uk.
