My God a Goddess

My god is my goddess

There is no almighty
Not in my eyes
It is in her

How can I see beyond
When blinded
resides
Before me
Beauty
Is perched

I pray
I kneel
My spine a keel
For her
Tingles

May I be revealed
in awe
Outstretched
Before her
Giving it all
Gladly

I mouth the words
I do
In silence

The hymns begin
with her name
Quells the fear
and flame of love

I have found belief
and lost
alone
at last.

Hi Peter,
I like the beautiful simplicity of this poem, you look very dapper in your tux in the pics on the gallery - hope you enjoyed your birthday on Sunday. Best wishes.
