I Am Not The Only One
Quietly she releases waves of fascination
And her aroma heals the deterioration
She whispers to my heart in appreciation
Live life the way you want… Yet she says, I am not the only one.
In the darkest of the hour she blossoms like light
No rivalry with anyone, she offers pure delight
Whoever knows her, call her divine in their own right
She tenderly touches my heart… Yet she says, I am not the only one.
Like clouds she is soft, and yet with full of content
She is a healer and that’s her only beautiful intent
A medium she seems and perhaps my penchant
She appears omnipresent… Yet she says, I am not the only one.
It’s in her eyes the whole cosmos looks submerged
From the divine fire she is like a goddess emerged
To a dying heart she is like the last prayer urged…
A wish wished by a wisher… Yet she says, I am not the only one.
A sigh in heart and a wish on mind, lips articulate
Conundrum it appears and so is the gullible fate
She sends sparkle to the eyes; a checkmate…
Fairies are for the fortunate… Yet she says, I am not the only one.
