As a parent I am truly vexed,

Opening schools will kill children next.

To open them up is an idea quite wild,

But you can't make me send my child !

 

My kids are the most precious things in the world to me,

I will keep them at home where they are safe and virus free.

Social distancing in schools is impossible,no matter how hard we try,

Opening schools will put staff at risk to be infected and possibly die.

 

No going back until it is safe to roam,

Don't run the risk of bringing the virus home.

No 4 year old will understand why they can't hug a friend,

Bringing a virus home to a grandparent could be the end.

 

Health before wealth ,the economy will survive,

To bring back the deceased ,we will never revive.

A child in a crowded class might infect a dozen or more,

Secluded at home uninfected the figures won't soar.
