Liar’s World

I sit here.
Atop a throne.
I sit here.
In a world of my own.
Of people I’ve imagined
And things that don’t exist
And events that never happened
And events that I’ve missed
I sit here.
I sit in my world.
MY world; made of lies, and I am the king.
I sit here.
And I laugh.

I sit here.
My throne is no more.
I sit here.
And I rock on the floor.
In the world I’ve imagined
With the things that don’t exist
The events that never happened
And the people I’ve missed.
I sit here.
I sit in my world.
MY world; made of lies, and I am all alone.

I sit here.
And I laugh
