It's interesting how this evolved. Agreed, it's not the sort of thing I usually write about. One thing led to another. Start with lockdown. Frustrated teenager having to substitute cards with parents over playing with mates. Typical rebellious reaction. Shit, suck,. What rhymes with suck? ...fuck. Bingo. Rhymer at work MC.
Just an exercise in letting the mind loose and see where it went....
Phil, I do love crib and kids enjoy scrabble. Think snap might be bit complicated now MC. Reaction time not what it used to be....

Interesting subject from you, Don...as clearly card games have a
stimulating effect on thinking. And much of your poetry is about
that same mental exercise, including thinking "outside the box".
I have no axe to grind either way as I have only played very occasionally, and keep it simple - like "Snap"!! My brother likes Mah Jong and enjoys these indoor games far more that I do anyway.
