Wall Of Glass
Call the news apocrypha to shore up your walls of sand,
But know the tides of truth will wash them to rubble,
You hide behind “Stone ramparts” but fail to understand,
We can see straight through the flimsy skin of your bubble,
And as your, “Circle of trust,” collapses in upon itself,
And you begin to realise this, “Stretched balloon,” will pop,
And the fallout will take no account of privilege or wealth,
It does not discriminate upon whose head it drops,
And you weren’t even wise enough to shut your mouth and listen,
To those who told you building walls only builds division.
