We were getting on great before lockdown
The odd early night and a bottle of wine
But I knew my fate was sealed when
You bought lingerie and champagne on line
What used to be fun has become a nightmare
I've seen through these hot oriental sauces
Before long I think I'll go out of my mind
Because you're stretching my resources
Stretching, stretching, stretching my resources
I'm human, this frame has its limitations
You're demanding too much and I cant hack it
I'm a small island not a league of nations
Butter wouldn't melt in your mouth before
But like a hypnotist dangles his watch
Lockdown's drawn out your true colours
I'm not an individual any more, I'm a notch
Stretching, stretching, stretching my resources
I'm human, this frame has its limitations
You're demanding too much and I can't hack it
I'm a small island not a league of nations
The sooner you're back at work the better
Multi-vitamins and spinach help but only just
At this rate I'll need three months off to recover
Where's my mask, I'm off to Boots, Viagra is a must
Stretching, stretching, stretching my resources
I'm human, this frame has its limitations
You're demanding too much and I can't hack it
I'm a small island, not a league of nations

I'm not an individual any more, I'm a crotch!? Really amusing, and well written. From what I hear a lot of friends have been under the same kind of pressure, both M and F. That's two of us who will be laughing for ages.
