Grey green eyes

entry picture

It use to be exciting being on my own.

But every since the very first time I met you, I knew that I never wanted to be alone again.

Grey green eyes, your warm hand over my thigh, I never want to be without you.

I never want to be without you and now I am without you. I find myself grasping the ground as I look around for you.

You brought me up out of the cold and deep and cherished and loved me.

I try to adjust my feet to this new ground and gather up what control I have left but the truth is I have none left and my best friend has turned me away.

I have never been a girl of need, only want. But as a woman, for you I need.

I need your arms wrapped around my small body.

I need your sweet spirit to lift me up.

I need your laughing voice to make me smile.

I need to make sure nothing defeats you or hurts you.

Because he is rare, a kind, soft soul that the World doesn't deserve.

He is calm, though I know on the inside he is falling, he is calm.

He is an angel's touch that changed my heart for life.

He is the warm cover and protection on a stormy night.

He opens my locks and decodes my language.

He listens to the details I didn't know I had.

He Loves me like mad.

And I Love him until my heart bursts and breaks.

I love him the best way that I know how.
