The sky spits rain

upon the drive and walk

 

rain runs downhill

it's spatter likens talk

 

a humidity of clams

and sensuous smells

 

its clamoring the clink

of tiny bells

 

it sings of heaven

in its sweet refrain

 

there is no sound

quite like the sound of rain.
