The oblivious world

He used to bring her flowers when he came wooing her

He used to give her lavish gifts when he came wooing her

He used to to take her to the theatre when he come wooing her

And take her to fancy restaurants afterwards

He gave her a ring as a token of his friendship

She wore it with pride

There were just the two of them in this idyllic relationship

Then he married her

The blissful relationship turned into a nightmare overnight

The ring really signified that she was his possession

No more flowers come her way

Gifts were a thing of the past

There were no more visits to the theatre and no more eating out

She was subjected to humiliation

She had to serve his every whim and fancy

She was blamed for all his shortcomings

She was accused of disloyalty

Beaten black and blue for upsetting him

She constantly blamed herself and aplogised to him for annoying him

Yet none of it was her fault

She didn't have friends to advise her

She didn't know how to stop loving him

Alas love is blind and there were just the two of them in the relationship

The world was. oblivious to the happenings in their fortress

She prays for released from this prision and cries herself to sleep every night

Some work hard to achieve something but once achieved they forget their value and start treating it like possession they have right over.
That's where they get wrong in a relationship it's not something but someone you work for.

Abdul, why does love really go sour in marriage?
You have any idea?

Great work.
