Move Over Rain Clouds
Up and down, smile or frown?
A hot, summer day is on its way
Let’s celebrate and shout hooray
Go outside, soak up those rays
A lovely way, to spend these days
A sunny day any time of the year
Brings a smile and brings me cheer
To distancing rules we must adhere
When in the garden enjoying a beer
It is so easy to let things get us down
Sink so low, feel like you may drown
Lose our smile, find a reason to frown
Move over rain clouds the sun is back in town

Thank you Tom, I know I didn’t realise how much the weather affected my mood until I started writing. My first poem of the day “Tired” was pretry gloomy. Things are heading in the right direction.
