Looking back through time
Does history repeat itself
Does the mind play silly games
Denies you of any help
When you’re standing at a crossroads
And you have many ways to go
Do you follow the signs for society
Or do you create a brand new show
Do you fit a readymade template
Or make a new blueprint
Do you follow formed instructions
Or create a future glimpse
A glimpse so future generations
Are not made to feel this way
They see it’s perfectly acceptable
Regardless if their straight, bi or gay
We should look out for our children
Stand up for what it right
If we can do this sooner
Then they will not have this fight
No fights with society
Or the war in one’s own head
A rainbow world to live in
Where no one lives with dread
Because sexuality is equal
The same as culture, gender and race
A world of discrimination
No one should have to face
So stand up for our children’s futures
Walk together hand in hand
Accept that everybody’s different
Let’s draw lines in the sand
