Poetry Rivals are inviting entries for their biggest ever open competition, and by sharing your poetry with them you could find yourself the winner of a publishing contract with the U.K.s largest publisher of new poetry!

You can write on any subject, and in any style, and the competition is open to all, no matter what your age or experience; serious or sad, amusing or emotional, Poetry Rivals want your poetry. The competition is free to enter, and the closing date is Saturday, 31^st July.

The top 100 poets (50 under 18s and 50 over 18s) will be invited to our live Poetry Slam to perform their poetry in front of a panel of judges and a live audience. The prizes include a publishing contract and £2,000 in cash awards, and a top of the range laptop computer for the winner of the under 18s category.
