Jennifer My Love

The last breath of daylight had faded to grey

An array of diamonds encrusted the moon

Waves gently kissed the Quayside as we dined

A warm evening breeze ran its fingers through your hair

Your dress  pressed against your perfect body

I smiled, was I not the luckiest man the world

We slid our hands accross the table

Our eyes locked on lust

Noen reflections danced atop the waves

We glided arm in arm to our car

In a blur we were in our hotel room

I kissed the back of your neck

Our clothes melted to the floor

We fell into a passionate union

No secrtetes were hidden

Awakening to a twinkling dawn

I reach for you thighe to caress, you smiled

My face light like one thousand candles

We both rolled over to ........

Reach for each of our wedding rings

It had been fun to act like a young couple after all these years

Hello, Philip

Beautifully etched poem, romance rekindled. After many years still very much alive, it shows in your writing. You are very passionate writer. The love you described so well. These moments spent with your Soul Mate, it seems like a teenage love again.
Fantastic poetry here- really enjoyed reading!

BEAUTIFUL POEM!!

Thank you,
Zuzanna
