History
History will judge us all, like it not,
Our actions, subtractions, additions and omissions,
Retractions, and remissions and conditions and what not,
Hope it judges fairly, and that you won’t be forgot,
Accepts all your submissions and also in addition,
Accepts your recognition of the ever looming, “Slot,”
Which will be your final resting place,
Allows for all your best, in case,
You haven’t done enough within what time doth allot,
Know this though, for upon your final thoughts it might have bearing,
The world remembers daring, not the, “Haves,” and the, “Have not’s,”
Gold and silver can’t buy love and nor can they buy caring,
From a world that measures worth by who you are, not what you’ve got,
So make your choices well and live a life of virtue,
And know that none can hurt you when for you the bell doth toll,
And hold on to your values, let your spirit not desert you,
And history might just think your name is worthy of its scroll.

Someone once said to me that history was, "Everything that has ever happened," I replied, "Actually, it’s everything that's ever happened that we're prepared to talk about."
Still don't know if I was right? To be honest, it doesn't really matter if I am or not. Thanks Paul.
