They F*** You Up...
Writing to Speak presents a special two-day event - ‘They F*** You Up ...’ in the Studio space at Hull Truck Theatre, on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd July, 2010, as part of the Larkin25 Festival.
The show is a culmination of a series of workshops, and will feature performances from emerging pets from Hull and its surrounding areas, as well as multi-media elements and a special set from workshop leaders and hosts – Joe Hakim and Mike Watts. With performers whose ages range from 19 to 78, and subjects as diverse as memories of Hull during World War II to ice-cream cones at Hornsea, both evenings promise to surprise and delight.
Produced in association with thisisUll.com, these events offer the participants from the workshop their first opportunity to perform their work in public, and to use the spoken word skills they acquired during a two-month development period.
