In

the

few

days

remaining

before we all

gather together,

in ordered bubbles,

to celebrate a much

simpler Christmas than

in previous years, we can

contemplate that difference

and still be truly appreciative of

being able to enjoy this holiday time

despite the problems posed by Covid 19.

It has been a not insignificant obstacle to our

quintessentially social character in recent months.

This challenge threatens the way of life we have come

to enjoy, and presents ominous portents for the future of

all that we hold dear. Indeed, it may have to change forever.

So

the

true spirit of Christmas, I
