Amelia went into foster care early as a child,

But unfortunately flowered into something really wild.

Entering her teens she broke rule after rule.

Rebelling,truanting,disengaging from her school.

 

She wouldn't show up at school was frequently late,

Meetings with Amelia's head teacher her foster mum did hate.

She never cleaned her room or did her washing

Stressed everyone out , constantly arguing and shouting.

 

Things soon deteriorated and her foster mum kicked her out,

Only 16 she felt betrayed ,on how it came about.

For a fortnight  she slept in a bus shelter and begged for food,

People did sympathise with her,this hightened her mood.

 

One day Sonia from Centrepoint passed Amelia by,

She was shivering profusely and having a cry.

Sonia offered Amelia a safe and warm place to stay,

Amelia was overjoyed,good fortune had come her way.
