Twenty Twenty One

This year I began to write in rhyme
not much rhymes with twenty twenty
I wrote quite a lot about Covid-19
because pandemic news was aplenty

Looking forward to the coming year
the new year of twenty twenty one
I hope future writes about Covid-19
will end in rhyme with none, gone or won

Soon of covid news there will be none
Soon the virus will be history, long gone
Soon the vaccine rollout will all be done
Soon the Coronavirus battle will be won
