To get your mind

off of Covid

or politics

or Trump

go fishin'

catch and kill a fish

it will make you feel big and important

and you can brag about it

to your buddies down at the IHOP

the only downside is

the smell will be with you for days

and stink up your car and house

and your cat will come round pestering you

and your neighbors will call asking who died

and your wife will tell you to stay outside

until the stench dies down

the Amazon guy will quit deliverin'

and the folks at Walmart

will ban you from the store

but all in all it will be useful

and still beneficial to your mental health

the bottom line

you will find out who your true friends are

so

go fishin'

it will give you something to do

besides bitch and complain

about Covid or Politics

or Trump.
