Oblivious

When I contemplate the big sky

I look around and wonder why

I don't have enough tears to cry

Don't feel emotional, don't try

To understand the sky.

When I contemplate the bright sun

Then see people pick up a gun

I wonder what we've done

To become who we've become

And not understand the sun.

When you break it all down?

We're blindfold to each other

Travelling by

Oblivious.

When I contemplate life's big tree

Standing tall above me

I wonder when we'll all be free

Look eye to eye, not disagree

And understand the tree.

When you break it all down?

We're camouflage to each other

Travelling by

Oblivious.
