The dawn is breaking the sun shows her face
Another day is born in this lovely place
The grass it stands so proud the daisies raise their heads
Little baby rabbits from burrows they do peep
Little nostrils twitching and stretching out their legs
Ready for the new day as they leave behind their sleep
Ready to seek adventure outwith their cosy beds ........

Very sweet Bernedette, and thank you for your comment on one of my poems too! In the early spring I can never believe how tiny the baby rabbits are - they remind of little brown velvet buttons. I was going to write a poem about them - maybe next spring! x
