I came with no instructions

nothing to indicate how I work

or how to make me work

it was anybody's guess

as to what my true purpose was

or what function I fulfilled

so that's where my wife came in

she figured out soon enough

how to make me work

and has been persistent    

in her calling ever since

all commend her for her diligence

in taking on an impossible task

tightening all my screws and nuts

and getting production out of

something so seemingly worthless.
