Live, not just survive.
Why can't we simply live life as it comes
Why there's this madness in some
To end their race half their way
And wishing in grave to lay
Isn't life a gift for living
While others enjoy misgiving
And few respire untill ending
Their only hope is glooming
Take each day as it arrives
Many chapters old won't survive
New ones will add to give a perfect view
From death bed when it comes to you
Hold on to every straw of life
It could be the only thing to strife
Why waste dreaming impossibility
While those at hand one think silly
There're many struggling
For a single breathing
And many recklessly
Go wasting breathlessly
How ungrateful we are to almighty
When he gifts us from His bounty
We throw it away, gift rejected
And when gone we cry dejected
To all who are still alive
Happily live, not survive
For its not survival that's for us best
Rather making the most of our every breath

Right on! As my own late brother remarked not long before his passing: life is for living. How right he was - and is! Let us welcome each day as a gift, a free pass to whatever we can make of it. We
can take so much for granted but life shouldn't be treated that way.
It is - good and bad - something we are "gifted", so let's rejoice and
make the best of it within our ability to do so.
