Chance Of Rain
A chance of rain in August
is quite remarkable
fronts come down from way up north
but then they quickly stall
there's humility in humidity
it takes your breath away
and every day is similar
to the one of yesterday
we cannot change the weather
but oh how we can wish
a little breeze would come around
to help preserve our wits
but summer tends to linger
it's all that we recall
and I guess a 10% chance of rain
is better than none at all.
