As part of the NXNW Arts Festival there will be a creative writing workshop held at 1pm on 9th of August at Unit 9, Swan Meadow Industrial Estate Swan Meadow Rd, WN3 5BJ Wigan.

Writers John Togher and Darren Thomas will lead the workshop on the subject of the NXNW Art exhibition theme - ‘You Say Tomato – I Say Tomato’, looking at the nature of dialogic disagreement, malfunctions within conversations and the semantics of the spoken word.

Aspects of poetry, short story and scripts will also be covered.
