Moments & Moons
The moon got loose last night
and cut a pretty picture
as it roamed around the sky
all bright and happy
it looked like it was smiling
I hope it gets loose again tonight
and I hope a poet is there
to capture it
and put the moon to words
poets are good at
capturing moments
and moons.
