Possession Of Poetry
I am an illegal poet
I have no license to practice
I have no official papers
I cannot prove I am a poet
I have no photo ID
no Poet Card
If pulled over
I will not try to run
I will admit I am a recovering poet
and have an addiction to poetry
but that doesn't mean
I am a bad person
besides
possession of poetry
is only a misdemeanor.
