16. Poem

I'm not a puppet anymore

So the puppeteers can go

Find another who can dance to your tune

Can find joy in fulfilling your dreams

Living a life you choose for them

And are there to please you as you wish

I ain't a puppet and won't be one

So give up your lustful desires once and for all

Nothing will ever go the way you dream it to be

For you aren't my owner nor creator almighty

Before whom I bow and accept their blabbering

Don't treat me like a puppet for I won't be one

Don't instill your desires within me and asking me to accept

For what I want isn't what you plan to give

You have your wishes to fulfill through me

Sacrificing all that I wish to in life achieve
